Certification Studio is an adaptive exam prep tool built on one premise: you already took the course. You watched the videos. You did the labs. Now you need to finish the job and pass the exam.
Most people fail certification exams not because they don't know the material, but because they studied the wrong things at the wrong time. They spend hours reviewing concepts they already understand while the gaps in their knowledge stay hidden until exam day.
How it works
The engine combines two ideas from psychometrics. The first is item-response theory — specifically a Rasch model for question difficulty paired with Elo for your ability — so the system knows the relative difficulty of every question and your relative skill on every domain, and picks the next question to land at the edge of what you can do. Easy questions teach you nothing. Impossible ones discourage you. The right next question is the one that's just slightly harder than what you've nailed.
The second is confidence-based marking. Every answer asks not just "what do you pick" but "how sure are you." Got it right with high confidence? You won't see it again for a while. Got it right but you were guessing? It comes back sooner. Got it wrong but felt sure? That one comes back tomorrow with a sharper explanation. The category that fails people on real exams is the one where they're confidently wrong, and the engine is built to surface and close exactly those gaps.
What's live right now
Thirteen certifications across Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft, and Salesforce. Every cert has 300+ scenario-based questions, every question has a rationale explaining why the correct answer is right, and every wrong option has a misconception note explaining why someone might pick it and what they're probably confused about.
What's coming
More certifications. Smarter analytics. And the thing we're most excited about: real data on which questions actually predict exam success, so we can keep tightening the loop.
